A blessing to present a small preview of my spring collection for romon clothing at the French Embassy 🌹
Look 1 : Black Widow
A physical glimpse of what it looks like to stand out but still remain a mystery. I up-cycled sequin fabric from a gown & transformed it into a full coverage ski mask, & extended open blouse. Interfaced with a bloody red satin flat bed sheet paired with a velvet pleated hemi skirt, I was able to execute gender neutrality, a villain aesthetic, & avant-garde in partnership with my color coding staying true to the homage of my brand identity. Intense, seductive, & rebellious while welcoming an unsettling mystery with the coverage of a face enhancing the fashion forcing appreciation among my audience.
Look 2 : A Villains Gala
A physical glimpse of what it looks like to be seductive without being revealing. I used a liquid silk flat bed sheet as my textile for an extended blouse, covering a lace tank and and lace ski mask up-cycled from a train of a dress I created paired with a corseted piano skirt. Demonstrating mixed textiles, extravagance, & the seductive energy of the Baroque period I wanted to put emphasis on the power of the face & identity by hiding myself behind the lace performing the power of seduction & androgyny that surrounds us everyday.
